Signature of Rabbi Gedaliah Moshe of Zv’il, son of Rabbi Shlomo of Zvil and Rabbi David son of R. Menachem Nachum of Rachmastrivka, on a letter of thanks and acknowledgement upon receiving a donation for the Yeshiva of Rabbeinu Chaim Yosef [Sonnenfeld].

The document was signed by Rabbi Gedaliah Moshe of Zvil, who was raised by his great father, and like his father he too helped many people and participated in the sorrow of his Chassidim and followers. He was great in the Torah, and received semichah from R. Chaim Soloveitchik. He was exiled to Siberia by the Soviets and after his liberation he succeeded in immigrating to Israel. In 1945, he was appointed to replace his father, and passed away less than two months after signing this document on the 24th of Cheshvan 5709.
