Chiddushim and explanations on Tur-Orach Chaim by Rabbi Yaakov Emden.
Two volumes complete, impressive copy.
The last page features a map of Eretz Yisrael as delineated by the Yaabetz.
 Renowned as the Yaabetz,
Rabbi Yaakov Emden (1698-1776) was the son of the Chacham Tzvi and among the greatest Achronim. His comprehensive work Mor U’Ktziah was accepted as a fundamental source on the laws of Orach Chaim and is cited by both his contemporaries and later halachic authorities, including the Chofetz Chaim in Mishnah Brurah.
At the end of Volume 1 the Yaabetz records miracles that occurred to him inspiring him to commemorate those days as a Yom Tov of thanksgiving. Among these miracles, he relates that one night while learning Tur Orach Chaim he fell asleep at the table and was nearly burned from the lit candle.
