The sefer includes the approbation of the Ohev Yisrael, as presented below. It was written on the 9th of Tammuz 1824, a mere 9 days before his passing.
“… [printed] in the printing press of Slavita with a generous and discerning eye…the son of Rabbi Moshe Shapiro, Av Beis Din of Slavita. Hashem has helped him succeed in beautifying his sefarim. How good it is that he now wants to reprint the Zohar, so I warn others, lest anyone impinge on his rights…and he who heeds will be blessed…Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Apta, here in Mezibuzh.”

Page size: 21.5 cm. 3 volumes with 3 title pages in red ink and additional internal title pages for Bamidbar and Devarim. All volumes are perfectly intact. Professional restoration of margins on first pages in all 3 volumes. Partial leather binding
“All those who fear Hashem should try to acquire old printings of sefarim, which were mostly printed by G-d fearing Jews, especially those of the Slavita and Zhitomir printings, printed by the grandsons of the Rabbi of Koritz, exceptionally holy printers” (Taharas Hakodesh by the Shomer Emunim ch. 6).
