The personal first-draft copy of Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Kanievsky’s sefer filled with multiple corrections and additions. This sefer was printed as a proof and given to Rabbi Yisrael Yaakov to gloss over before being sent to print.

The pages were printed one-sided and are packed with hundreds of his handwritten additions and correction, including to the title page and commemorative pages, before a new edition was sent to be printed.

Rabbi Yisrael Yaakov Kanievsky (1899-1985), also known as the Steipler, was known for his brilliance and righteousness. He was the brother-in-law of the Chazon Ish and one of the greatest leaders of the Torah world.
