הערכה: $500 - $700
A sharply worded letter written by Rabbi Avraham Chaim Naeh regarding the controversy surrounding what constitutes proper biblical shiurim (measurements).
In his letter, Rabbi Chaim Naeh responds to the questioner using the words "the true meaning of Torah," and clarifies the distinction between the Chassidic and Lithuanian ways of learning.
At the end of his letter, Rabbi Chaim Naeh asks whether it is true that the Chazon Ish plans to go publicly against the shiurim that he had established.
After Rabbi Naeh publicized his opinion regarding the sizes of Biblical measurements, the Chazon Ish (and subsequently the Steipler) published his opinion which differed from that of Rabbi Naeh's, sparking a big controversy.
Despite their disagreement on this particular matter, the Chazon Ish looked up to Rabbi Chaim Naeh and respected him greatly.
The letter was written up on a typewriter and signed by Rabbi Chaim Naeh.
