Rabbi Avraham Shalom of Stropkov (1855 – 1939) was the son of Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga of Shinowa, grandson of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz. He was a renowned miracle worker, specifically in matters of childlessness, and received special directives from his holy father that were not given over to his brothers. Countless miraculous stories are told about him and people flocked to him from far and near for help and salvation. He succeeded his father as rabbi of Stropkov and later as Admor.
