The sefer was thoroughly proofread and edited seven times by Shmuel Rodriguez Mendez.

Printed in Amsterdam 1726, it includes a 216 year calendar and prayers in memory of those killed by the Inquisition, including a prayer in memory of the leaders of the Portuguese community of Amsterdam who were burned at stake by the Inquisition.

Masterfully bound in leather with impressive gilt edges and a beautiful title page.
