Ketubah of Rabbi Yichye ben Shlomo Ben Shalom Kapach one of the greatest sages of Yemen in recent generations.
The Ketubah is from the year of  from the city of Ka'a Bir al-'Azab [the Jewish neighborhood outside Sana'a].
Yihye Kapach (1850-1932) was the chief rabbi of Sana’a Yemen and the chief rabbinical figure in Yemen during his lifetime. His great fame followed the movement of Darda’a, which he founded and published books and pamphlets denying the authenticity of the Zohar. These views created many opponents from Yemen and abroad.
