Commentaries on the Torah – Bereishith and Shemoth and on the Sefer Da'at Zikenim of the Tosafoth by Rabbi Aharon Moshe Piazza, Rav and Dayan in the Livorno Community and author of many books.

A fascinating commentary including nice numerical expositions and quips. Many homiletics are quoted as well as the Chida during his lifetime. In addition commentary on Da’as Zikeinim by R. Ya'akov Nunis Veis of Livorno.

[3], 36, [7] ff. greenish paper. Size: 22.5:17.5 cm. In single leaves, small ink holes, on page 23 is a dark stain aside from this in very good condition, handsome handwriting clear and clean.

Rabbi Moshe Aharon Piazza was one of the Livorno sages in the eighteenth century – see title page for details of his rabbinate and literature he produced.
