Rare letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Pinchas Menahem of Piltz – grandson of the Chiddushei HaRim. The Rebbe was born in 1848 to his father Rabbi Binyamin Eliezer Yostman, son-in-law of the Chidushei HaRim. His early education was with his grandfather, who was very fond of him. He was known as a great genius in the Torah and as a great Tzaddik who made a tremendous impression on all and Rabbi Avraham of Taschenov testified that he "has the complete image of God."
