Harav Yechiel Mechel Hakohein Fried (1880-1940) Av Beis Din of Ivaresh and author of
Toras Yaffa. He was a disciple of his father, the Pnei Meivin, and also studied by the Arugas Habosem. Following his father’s passing in 1917, Harav Yechiel Mechel succeeded him as Rav and Av Beis Din in Ivaresh where he stood at the helm of the yeshivah in Ivaresh for twenty-seven years until the Nazis’ rise to power in Hungary.
