A handwritten postcard with blessings by Harav Meir Arik, Av Beis Din of Tirnau,
his son-in-law an esteemed genius in Galicia and author of Imrei Baruch.

Harav Meir Arik (1855-1926) who was ordained by his rebbi the Kochav Mi’Yaakov and Maharsham whom he succeeded as the foremost Posek in late 19th and early 20th century Galicia.He was revered by all his contemporaries, many of whom crowned him with glorious accolades and titles, such as his talmid Harav Meir Shapiro who called him Sar HaTorah, the Kedushas Tzion of Bobov who praised him as Ner Yisrael pe’er hador, and the Divrei Yoel of Satmar who called him Pe’er hayamim, chemdas hazmanim. His written legacy includes Shu”t Imrei Yosher and Tal Torah, among others.
