Harav Shlomo Eliezer Alfandri (1826-1930) was known as a sage and a miracle worker. He served as the Rabbi of Constantinople, Damascus, and Tzfas. Rabbi Alfandri lived past his centennial birthday, whereupon, at the behest of it’s scholars, he journeyed to Jerusalem and settled there in the final years of his life.
