Prayers for the High Holy Days and three festivals in Polish rite, following the customs of Pihem, Merin, Lithuania and Reisin. This set is complete with all piyyutim and yotzros, and features a translation and commentary in Yiddish.
This set of machzorim was printed in the famous press of Rabbi Shmuel Avraham Shapira, son of the legendary Slavita Rav, Rabbi Moshe Shapira, who was the son of the Admor Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz.
This impressive set was printed in two large volumes on light greenish-blue paper. Both title pages are printed in red ink.
The machzorim boast approbations by Rabbi Eizik, Av Beis Din of New Berditchev; Rabbi Efraim Dayan of Sadiklov and the esteemed dayanim of Ostroh. The first approbation printed in the beginning of the sefer was actually written to the Admor Rabbi Moshe Shapira.
