Possessing this holy sefer is a verified segulah for protection, as written on the title page of this first edition:
“It is an effective segulah for the House of Israel to have children and grandchildren who are scholarly and wise, for success and blessing, to extinguish a fire in the house, and to prevent an evil spirit or ill from dwelling amongst him. One who keeps this sacred and exalted sefer stowed among his gold and valuables shall merit swift salvation in times of tribulation, and all Bnei Torah shall attest and confirm this.”
