Fundamental sefer on the rules of dikduk by the great Jewish grammarian Rabbi Eliyahu Halevi Bachur Ashkenazy, with translation into Latin by the famous printer Paulos Baggios. The sefer includes 712 shorashim (root words) and their translations; 712 is the numerical value of title, Tishbi . The text is printed with facing columns of Hebrew and Latin.
Rabbi Eliyahu Halevi Ashkenazy (1469-1549), commonly known as Rabbi Eliyahu Bachur, was one of the greatest Hebrew grammarians of all times. He authored several fundamental works on Hebrew grammar, although the most famous among them is undoubtedly the present Sefer HaTishbi which was widely disseminated and reprinted in many editions.
 
Isny, 1541. 278, [5] sides. Page size: 21 cm. Last leaf features a Hebrew colophon with the emblem of the famous printer Paulos Baggios. Aside from a minor tear on side [2], it is a beautiful, complete copy in good condition. Half-leather  binding.
