Tikkun for the Seventh Night of Passover

First Edition. Amsterdam, 1725

Seder Leil Shvii Shel Pesach – includes excerpts from Torah: Neviim, Kesuvim, Mishnah and Zohar.
Rare first printing of a Tikkun Leil Shvii Shel Pesach. TIkkunim for the nights of Hoshanah Rabbah and Shavuos are well known, but this is the first printing of a Seder Leil Shvii Shel Pesach in the style of the aforementioned Tikkunim.

Tikkun Leil Shvii Shel Pesach
In the past, it was customary for Jewish congregations to remain awake the entire night of Shvii Shel Pesach to sing Shiras Hayam, praise Hashem for the miracles and wonders, and recite the Tikkun.
“Praised is the man who follows this holy Seder…to arouse mercy before the A-mighty, may He perform miracles for us like in the days that we left Egypt.” (Chemdas Yamim; the Yaabetz also mentions this in his Siddur, as does the author of the Yesod v’Shoresh Avodah.)
Amsterdam, 1725. Solomon Propes printing. [2], 29 leaves. Page size: 17 cm. Beautiful copy, perfect condition, thick paper, attractive margins, gilded edging, parchment binding.
