This is a sacred leaf from the Admor Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar’s landmark essay “Yishuv Eretz Yisrael” which was printed in his magnum opus Vayoel Moshe.

This leaf presents the Admor Harav Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar’s handwritten discussion regarding the relevance of dwelling in Eretz Yisrael in this day and age.

The holy Admor Harav Yoel of Satmar (1887-1979), author of Divrei Yoel and Vayoel Moshe, waged a mighty battle against the Zionist movement, vigorously protesting against those who journeyed to Eretz Yisrael in order to join the battle to conquer the Jewish homeland. His sefer Vayoel Moshe encompasses a long essay clarifying his beliefs regarding the mitzvah of setting in Eretz Yisrael during this era.

Handwritten manuscript. Page Size: 28×21 cm. The contents of his manuscript appear in his sefer Vayoel Moshe “Yishuv Eretz Yisrael”. The majority of text has a thin eraser line running through it, although it is still perfectly legible. Condition: Good.
